You mean the event in Trier which took place on Aug. 11./12.2007? Yes, I have been there with friends on Saturday just as a visitor not as a participant. We also watched the theater/gladiator show at the amphitheater. Esp. of this I was rather disappointed because I had come there to watch gladiator fights but it was more theater than any fights. Of the actual fights there were only three gladiatorial combats while the first one was a kind of a prolusio with wooden weapons, followed by a boxing competition (with a theater part inbetween though). The three fights consisted of a murmillo vs. thraex, two provocatores, two pairs of retiarii vs. secutores with a pons errected but this one used only for a short moment then the retiarius jumped down and continued his bout with his secutor on the floor.
