Spartans and Thebans from the Battle of Leuctra (1:72 Scale)
#1
Hi all!
For all those Members who are interested in Ancient Greece, the end of this year (or the beginning of the next) will be a good time!
Hat is working on Thebans and Spartans which I think would properly show the Battle of Leuctra.
The Spartans!
The Thebans!

I think they will be a good reinforcement for our Miniature Armies, and nevertheless Hat products are fortunately cheap, so that it won´t be a problem to build up a Diorama as well.

Kind Regards

Hello again!
Some month have past since opening this thread, and last Weekend I had the luck too get the set "Theban Army".
Well, the Figures are nice, even as they are a bit slender and the Aspidites where to flat and maybe the material is a bit soft, but above all a well done set!
Especially the Theban cavalry is very well done!
The set enables the Modeller to build up a nice Phalanx, backed up by medium and heavy cavalry.
The set consists of 52 Hoplites (including 4 officers and some naked soldiers) and 8 Horsemen (4 light + 4 heavy).
Arms and Armour are nice and detailed, but sadly, the majority has already the Club of Herakles on the shields, so that variation needs a bit time.
For Photos see the link above.
Overall, a nice set!
Kind regards
Strategos
