Can anyone help and tell me why none of my pics will upload?????

i posted my picture ( facial ) to go with my details and have posted three shots of my greaves, but the just dont seem to go anywhere, whats wrong??????????

Can you explain how you are uploading via Forum allowence or direct from your computer ect.

Hi Martin,
You uploaded an avatar for your profile on the main site - although the user databases are integrated, the profiles aren't yet... - to upload an avatar for your RAT profile, go to http://www.romanarmy.com/rat/profile.ph ... sub=avatar

To display images in your post, is very easy: you can upload 1200*1000 jpgs or gifs of maximum 256 kb to the server by clicking 'Add attachment', then browse your computer for the file you need, click 'Add attachment' again and click submit. Your file will now be uploaded to the server and will be displayed in your post.

did try to upload images from my pc files but just didnt take them, despite me making sure that they were the right size so i am at a loss on this one

Hi Jasper, really bashing my head against this one in the 'Show you Soldier Impression' : the FAQ says you can't upload pics direct from your pc, but I can't see how to 'attach' pics which are already on the web & the only form of link I can make work is a text link. I've tried making the things tiny, tried one at a time, I'm clueless.

Brilliant, thanks Jasper: can I request 5megs? I think it's so much quicker for casual viewers to see if they're interested if you can embed pics.

I had trouble doing that too , then suddenly found I could.....wierd!
