I did, and it is a must-be-read about the subject. Lot of information, both about historical and archeological sources.

Talk about timing! I've just read it, and was very impressed by it, especially his theory on 'dark earth' not being a sign of abandonment but of earth built buildings! Lot's of interesting stuff!
