Me in another life

Laredo (I think the first one) it´s a village, in Cantabria.

The same happens with Durango, Albuquerque, a place in Fl. called "Ponte-vedra" as Pontevedra, Toledo, and so many places named after Spanish people went there. Naming places after the ones you came, or you know, it´s conmon... Or see New Amsterdam, sorry York

In Almería, in the south of Spain, there are some wild west villages, built for the filming of some of the most famous spaghetti-westerns, and some other films like "Patton", "Indiana jones an the last crusade", "Conan" ,"lawrence of Arabia"... And I had been there 8)

-This new learning amazes me, Sir Bedevere. Explain again how
sheep´s bladders may be employed to prevent earthquakes.

I do love Deadwood. You know it's a true western show when the bad guys have all the best lines!

Laredo, Kent....western villages in Spain. I had no idea the western thing was such an item overseas. *sigh* I really need to leave the country for a while one day.

Woah, is that a cowboy convention!?
No. Thats a western town in Kent called Laredo. You can find it it in www.Laredo.org.uk/ . I am occasionally part of the western scene here. NOT LINE DANCING. THATS SWEARING!!!!!!
The somberero is from Mexico. The boots are Buffalo Runners (1870s repro) from Texas. Spurs from Mexico. The pants were originally from Horsefly Texas but I made them into split pants with the leatherwork. I made the Charro jacket the gunbelt and holster. The gun. 1873 Colt repro blankfire .38. The occasion was Christmas 2006

Think I read about it in a reenactment magazine. Where abouts in Kent is it? I grew up in North Kent - New Ash Green/Hartley.
Its a Fawkham Green at the back of Brands Hatch Race track off the A20
