Help wanted. Again!

The time: April 1941
The place: Strymon riverGreece
The unit: Brandenburg regiment (Wehrmacht commandos & infiltration unit)

Unconfirmed info say they tried to infiltrate the Greek fortifications with rubber boats through the river wearing Greek Army uniforms.
But someone..mistook them for....Bulgarians!!!!! and they were shot to pieces.

Any info on the unit and online resources would be very much appreciated

I can not vouch for these sources and as you will quickly discover some of the different sites are using the same sources. The pdf is of the table of contents for a book on the Brandenburgers -- perhaps that book would be of use to you. No doubt a search of Amazon will yield several volumes. IIRC Lucas turned out a book on them but I have not read it so again can not offer a judgment on its usefulness.
