LORD OF THE RINGS Online, Anyone?
#1
I just downloaded a trial version of LOTR Online:Shadows of Angmar! I must say it's very addictive and fun, though the keyboard movement take a bit of getting used to (I'm more familiar with point-and-click :wink: )

Smile If anyone else plays, perhaps we could start a Fellowship ...

My character is Sarawenn of Gondor, Human, Level 4 Captain. You can find me in Landroval, around the town of Archet. I'll be there for awhile fulfilling mini-quests and generally gaining experience.

Unfortunately, thanks to a virus attack, my security settings are all messed up, and I have yet to un-mess them back to original settings!

Translation = I can't download it! Sad

Well, when you unmess them, be sure not to reinclude the virus, ok? :o roll:

I have that safely trapped on my(brand new) memory stick... :oops: :roll: Thought my anti-virus would be able to clean it off, but it is a dangerous ba...d! Not sure what to do with the stick, as I hate to throw it away, but not sure how to clean it! :evil: :x

There was always one joker in college who thought writing virus's was 'really cool' :evil: My opinion of his type has only been re-enforced by this....The Colosseum for the lot of them!

Slopey shoulders, eh? I'll bet they have trouble keeping their purses on them, then. :lol: How do I know? Don't ask; don't tell.

No, no! You misunderstand! I have tried to carry a purse, and unless the strap crosses to the other side, it just falls off. Slopey shoulders on ME. I like and respect oil workers. Without them, we wouldn't have oil. I like oil. I just bought some tonight and put in the van. Along with one of your petroleum distillates. Getting pretty pricey, but that's somebody's political decision; it's not for lack of availability.

I was carrying the purse, or trying to, for my wife. I don't know how the ladies do it. I can't manage to keep it from falling down to my elbow. Don't all guys carry a purse now and then? Tongue ?:

:lol: Even though my mom buys me nice Gucci and Coach purses (very high-end stuff ... I never ask for'em, she just gives them to me anyway! :? ), my most favourite purse is an old, used, green army bag that I got from an army surplus supplier. It's falling apart from years of use! LOL

Anyhoo, I just found out that you end up in Landroval by Archet town *only* if you play a Man or Hobbit! So if you choose to be anything else, you will likely not see my character (unless it's later at the higher character levels).

Smile I've gotten through the first beginner 'stage' in Archet, which concludes after you defend Archet against the brigands, and am now a Level 6, with the title Sarawenn the Wary. So far, I have 1 player in the Fellowship, someone named Daragorn of Gondor.
