Maybe you could ask the RMRS (or look at their site).

Don't think the RMRS has any plans to link up as a unit with one. Don't think that Bury St Edmunds is happening this year either- a shame.

I know there are some plays in Seville and it is done in other parts of Spain, but in most of them, roman soldiers look like playmobil (everything is plastic) and all inspired by Hollywood.
Anyway I saw last year in Seville (on the TV) a group with real segmentatas and imperial gallic helmets, they had a nice kit.

Actually the RMRS are doing something, Leicester is the venue!

It is true that some of us are going to be taking part in the Leicester passion play, as we do each year, but it is not an official RMRS event.

A rather chilly affair this year though talking to the crimminals afterwards they both said they felt surprisingly OK after they were cut down.
There are photos on the official web site though sadly of poor resolution
http://www.christinthecentre.co.uk/ follow the links through to the official photogrpaphers web site for a wider selection.
I've also found this one on Flickr

Mauritius - did you take any photographs?

Quote:Well... The Roman looks WAY better than this awesome mix of 'Star Wars III' and 'El Cid'!!
Actually with the narrator busting a gut to look like David Tennant
http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z82/pnoons/new-9.jpg
and the High priests looking like the High Council of Galifrae
http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z82/ ... new-10.jpg
not to mention the ever beating drums I wondered if the theme of this year was more Doctor Who.
It is odd as they have booked us now for the last 6 years so that the Romans can look accurate but then they still insist on those bizzarre costumes for their priests.
Otherwise a very slick production
