Folding camp furniture

I've searched, but could find nothing recent. So, are there current examples of folding table/chairs made/offered for sale? I've seen the folding stools, but am not sure they'll hold this un-Apollo like body. :wink:

Any help would be appreciated.

Iron folding stools weigh a lot when packing for the weekend. I stick to wooden benches, wooden stools, a folding wooden stool, and lots of trestle tables. Being camp furniture you can stick to the less impressive period woods like beech, apple and oak. I do have one box in black walnut, but that wood be a rare thing in northern Britain. If all else fails get a red deer skin and stick to the floor. You can't fall off it.

The Norse had a story about putting a drop of beer in the eye to see things as they really are. Given the fact the world is spinning at around 630 mph (at my usual latitude) perhaps it just opens the doors of perception!

There is a folding chair found in a rich woman grave in Hatert, Nijmegen. You can currently see a nice reproduction of it in the Museum het Valkhof. Here a pic of it
