Trehövdingating at Gene the 12:th of july 2008
Under the red and yellow leafs in the autum forrest the rumour has spread north! Before the first snow fell at the Midwinterbloot it came to the people at Högom. With the men on the last ship to the forges at Gene the word come to Harald the Chieftain in the bay. The Southerners had sent men up the coast that came with cold steel and hard negotiations.
This where not as of old, they where quicker in speech and faster to ill deeds. It was said they had served with the high king in micklagaard and there they had learned not only the worth of silver but also intrigue and sweet words. Now they had set their greedy eyes on the north and the men of Anger and Högoms fine iron. In the dark hall Harald had spoken with his wife and they had sent word out for warriors in case of hard times.
These had came during the ice cold days after the winter solstice. Not quite the most handsome or friendliest but known for their loyalty to one who gave gifts. Not the stuff for legends but those who did their work without hesitation in the face of the horrors of battle. When the Ice broke Harald sent men to Högom ant the Jamts and asked the chieftains Brandr and Bodvar to meet him at the height of summer. Those two did not have love for each other but in this bad time they where bound to come. The people of Gene hoped the blood of brother would not be spilled and that the Northerners could unite against those New Men from the plains of the Svea...
This will be a Vendelperiod Event.
