Having the Ice Man\'s baby?
#1
The mind boggles...is Lenin next?

Dozens of women want Bronze Age hunter's babies

Dozens of women have asked to be made pregnant by a prehistoric iceman who died 5,000 years ago.

The body of "Otzi the Iceman" was discovered by hikers in 1991 as ice melted in the Schnalstal glacier, high in the Italian Alps.

Alex Susanna, director of the Bozen Museum where his body is exhibited, says requests have been received by many women wanting to have Otzi's babies.

He told Austrian broadcasting company ORF that all of the requests had been turned down, not least because Otzi's penis had decayed away.

Otzi was found half emerged from the ice and his body was first thought to be that of a modern climber. Closer examination showed he was still wearing goatskin leggings and a grass cape.

His copper-headed axe and a quiver full of arrows were found nearby and radio-carbon dating showed the body was more than 5,000 years old.
Richard Campbell, Legio XX
Who would want to have a kid that had a 5000 year old physiology anyway...with today's enviromental pollutants, disease, and the crap we put into our food, the kid would probably croak in 24 hours.
Magnus/Matt
From a scientific point of view, it could provide interesting material in the nature-nurture debate.

But that'd be using a baby as guinnypig...
Greets
Just for the record, his, um, parts are all there, not "decayed away" though they are freeze-dried a bit. Pretty sure he won't be sexually active anytime soon, though!

Interesting question about the physiology, though. I would have assumed that he was tougher than most of us, since he was chasing sheep over 10,000-foot mountains in spite of his arthritis. I'm not sure if resistance to modern pollutants and diseases is more of a matter of upbringing than genetics. My guess is that if you could indeed come up with Son of Ice Man, he'd be pretty normal to us, just on the short side. Certainly no ancient knowledge to impart!
Lying in a glacier for thousands of years is known to cause people to become frigid.
