Latrunculi

Hi,
I would like to make a 7x8 Latrunculi board and I've seen references to one in 'Chesters Museum' and another found at Corbridge. I can;t any details online about either. Could anyone provide me with anymore details and a set of rules?

Well the rules are conjectural, but Wikipedia has a bit of history, some proposed rules, and links to a Mac OS version (which I downloaded sometime back)



The excellent Lacus Curtius also has well-documented references to the game. (sigh, I have tried multiple times to make the latter a hotlink, no go)
