I just wanted to wish everyone a good and wonderful day. I'm starting my morning with a wonderful 100*F temperature. WOOHOO!!! Anybody for the Pool????? Ok I hope you have a day filled with sunshine and happiness!

Oh believe me you will look back on your basic training and laugh about it. I know I do all the time and that was 18 years ago. I've been with the army ever since. It will get better trust me. Besides it can't rain for ever. I wish it would rain here in Iraq!

It's good that the basic training will end in six weeks... then we'll get to drive a tank! A real one! This can only get better...

Here the sun tries to break through the clouds, sometimes.
I was playing basketball, but the grass around the court was wet, so I and the ball are dirty now and this while my girl friend is still asleep.
After buying bread, I took a look to the newspapers, which tells the German Chancellor allows my old army unit to be at the Celebration of the Hitler Assassination today…
I will now cook coffee and look ahead, what the day will bring.

... at least your basics is not in the winter, which is most uncomfortable by experience
anyway tank driving sounds fun (which tank besides?) ... all I got to know was the M113 and a Marder ... the cool thing is the playstation-like trigger mechanism and the night optics 8)

light body armour here in Germany during a very hot summer and thats probably nothing compared with Iraq. 8)

Funny weather, alternating between mild sunny patches and copiuos showers. Not too hot, tho.
I have five fresh stitches in my left hand from a surreal kitchen accident and am spending Sunday at home.

Not bad here in Southern Ontario, Canada. Been humid and hot, but then we get a nice thunder storm move in, and cools everything off for a while. Can't really complain.

Well my day is almost over and the hi for today so far is 118*F. I don't know what that is in celsus but it's HOT. I will be on for about another hour and then it back to my hut. So If I don't hear from anyone else before I go to the house. You all have a wonderful day and a peaceful night!
