If you are at the end of August somewhere in the North of Switzerland, I would recommend to visit the Römerfest at Augusta Raurica (Saturday to Sunday 30./31. of august).

I loved this in 2007! I enjoyed the chariots, Time trotters, gladiators, two Legions, merchants, and Roman wagon, as well as good food, many displays and a nce little museum. If you get the chance, well worth visiting!

but we have been so busy with our program that I could not attend
anything for longer.
