Interesting...

Reminds me of "Sky Captain" a green screen film made with a nearly empty soundstage and a lot of computing power.

Also reminds me of a film idea that has been kicking around for some time now, Operation Paperclip, not the same story but another one in which the Nazis suddenly have super advanced technology.

That film synopsis ends with this sentence:

"Racing against the clock, and Soviet spies who also want Lili, Ed discovers more than he signed up for; including a real live Nazi flying saucer and a plot to build a Waffen SS military base on the moon!"


As far as I know "Operation Paperclip" is still stuck in "Development Hell" (as so many films are) so "Iron Sky" may make it to the local cinema first.
