Hi there,Maurizio
,this might be a dumb question but does the invitation extend to Rome's Germanic(and other)allies if their presence in the city was not"out of place"?.

Good luck getting this off the ground.
We did the Founders day event this year (along with approx. 1000 others) and that wasn't a small event by any means. We had to get permits to carry our weapons in Rome and had to label everything in boxes as "theatrical props" to transport across europe.
Part of our march was supposed to go through the forum but the Rome council blocked it on the day, and that was an official council sanctioned event too, so, how are you able to arrange for people to march through when the GSR couldn't?

Ian, I can assure you that next year program will cover three days of events and it will be also to present a Theme Park that will be built outside the city.
The administration is changed and we are confident that all will flow as planned.
The event will list three days and the sitting area in the Circus Massimus will be for over 45,000 people for the Quadrigas and the other exhibitions.
I will be more specific with programs, plans, support and everything in the next future.
Thanks

It would be very nice if something could be put togethering for a package for folks who would like to come from the U.S. Maybe you could work with some of the tourist bureaus to come up with a air and land package together. It's usually cheaper if you can do both together. Some of us, who are not military, would really prefer to stay in the modern equivalent of a room with it's own glorious Roman bath and toilet.
We would definitely be interested in going as Roman citizens if the price was right. Airline rates are pretty decent right now, jet fuel has gone down in price.

Martius,
You have been told before -- you need to add your real name to your signature. It is a forum rule.
To do this, click on "Profile" at the top of the page, click on the tab on that page labelled "Profile," and then on the tab marked "Signature."
This is twice you've been told this by a moderator -- please ensure this is done ASAP.
