Thanks. We read it a material. Have made such version. Lacks?
Differences: seams and an additional band.
The rest is similar.

Nothing wrong with that pouch as far as I see it. Good work, and a laud point for your efforts!
It doesn't matter to me that much if it's an exact copy of a found specimen. It's got the same styling, look, and purpose. I like that you gave it a shoulder strap separate from the drawstring.
I'm about to make one on the same shape/size from thin deerskin, but without the grooved lines. I think it's too thin for that, and would be weak. It doesn't seem to respond too much to pressing when moist like your basic tooling leather. So the outsides will just be plain. If it seems strong enough, I'll leave off the inside casing. If it looks like it needs the reinforcement, I'll put it in there afterwards.

Yep, as Demetrius, says, if you just simply wanted to catch the "spirit" of the pouch, well done. Obviously there must have been dozens or hundreds of similar designs.

It indeed is a very nice variant. Indeed Laudes added!

Very nice- indeed reinforcement of specific sites does seem a consistent feature among the leather objects I've seen, however Martin is quite right that there would have been many types, so doubtless this one is just fine

You can see why they called this thing a 'scrotum' can't you!

Not really, Peronis -- it's looks a mite small to me.
But then again, that's just my personal perspective, being one of the Batavians and all.

I was inspired by Martins version of this pouch when I made my first(and only) pouch.
Mind you, I think I overestimated the size, and obviously the quality is no where in the same league. Hopefully I will be able to see these pictures in the near future!
Guess you need to be a Batavian to get these small pouches proportioned correctly!

Looks like a first rate copy of the one Martin started this all with. Let's see side 2! Then the predicted hookup...and voila, a scrotum novum!
(pro balla, certe)
Excellent work, as usual, bro.
