Sad News
#1
I know that everyone on RAT has a common interest and love for the Roman military. However, I think that the passion everyone shares is not only for the military but for Rome itself in every aspect. The reason I wrote this post is to share with everyone the passing of my cousin who was only 38 years of age. She died in her beloved city of Rome on Sunday. I though it appropiate to mention her on RAT because she was an archaeologist who was working constantly finding and trying to find new things in Rome. I thought it proper to mention her here since she, like the rest of us, share and shared a passion and love for Rome and her history.

May she rest in peace and walk along with those that she seeked to understand and study.

A sad note to end the year on, Doc. My sympathies to you and yours on such a sad loss. Take comfort on the fact that, for however short a period of time, she did her bit and added something to the sum of human knowledge.
