Two movies about the Battle of the Teutoburg Forest planned

I'm not sure, whether this is really totally new for you, but I didn't find something about it after a quick search....

There are currently two projects, an International and a German one, that want to tell the story of Arminius and the Battle of the Teutoburg Forest. The way they are described makes me think something like a mixture between Gladiator and Braveheart should be expected.

Why do both films have the exact same description? "When a German born Roman Commander returns home to find his people suffering beneath Rome’s domination he is forced to choose between the Empire that gave him purpose and the nation that gave him life."

Either way, you won't find me fighting for a front-row seat...
