Commanders at War Historical Battle Club
#1
Salve all,

To anyone interested there is a club that a few mates of mine are starting. It's not a gaming clan, it's a club based on finding the best and most accurate games or mods for games of any period in history. Prodded by the dastardly accuracy of the latest Total War game this will hopefully pull together those of us who are gamers and sticklers and have a cadre of people that will constantly be on the watch for games or mods for games that will satisfy even the most discerning amateur (or professional!) historian gamers.

Being very interested in Roman, Napoleonic, and Victorian (Franco Prussian, ACW, and Crimea) timeframes I found this to be very interesting and hopefully useful.

For those interested drop by the fledgling site at http://www.commandersatwar.com/forum

If you have any questions you can post here, there, or email/PM me.

Best Regards,
MHC

Rome:Total Realism has to be your first featured mod, hands down.

If you want you may go to the CW site and post a review of RTR. I played RTR Alesia, and found it superb, but that's the only submod I played of RTR. Right now CW is looking for this era, we have several late Roman mod reviews, WW2, 18th Century, and Napoleonic game and mod reviews. I am planning to put RS there at some point, I have played many hours more than I need to write an in depth review and have literally thousands of screenshots to pour through.

CW has finally had the forums stylized, and we're actively looking for gamers/history buffs to add content now that we're 100% up and running, technically speaking.
