Bataver Exhibition?

Hi Folks,
some questions to the boardmembers from the netherlands.
I saw on Saturday a poster about Nijmwegen and a exhibition about the Bataver.
In the www I found only this german short news:

I looking for more info about this exhibition…

As you can see on that newspaper, that exhibition was back in 2004. If you want to know more about the Batavian society, I would say have a look at the RMRS website ([url:3ut0v87d]http://www.romanarmy.net[/url]) and try the books by Nico Roymans (Ethnic Identity and Imperial Power) and Johan Nicolay (Armed Batavians).

As far as I know no new special exhibitions about the Batavians are planned. But of course the Valkhof museum is worth a visit.

It was an interesting exhibition though, with items mostly from the Nijmegen, Xanten and Leiden museums, but a few from further away, such as the tombstone of Imerix, a Batavian serving in the Ala I Hispanorum.

Damm.
So the poster was realy old, on Saturday I visited Xanten and it hang in the now closed old museum in the entrance door…
