Seattle and Oregon Romans Leg VI, Coh II FFC

Gentlemen and Ladies,

I just wanted to make the announcement that LEGIO VI FFC now has a second cohort
established in the Washington/Oregon area of the West Coast.

This organization has been established with Rusty Myer's consent and permission and will hold true to
LEGIO VI FFC standards and ideals. Most of the members with the exception of
myself were originally of the VIth Cohort, Legio XIIII, G.M.

We currently have five members and are on a recruiting campaign. We hope to gain
a couple more members prior to participation at the September Italian Fest in Seattle, which we
have been asked to participate in. We currently have one complete spare loaner kit if you are interested in giving it a shot and we won't tax you for using it...we swear

Our next event is August 1st and 2nd at the Washington Renaissance and Fantasy Faire.

If you are in that part of this part of North America, looking to do something Roman...we are
here. This includes our brothers and sisters up North!!

We will use our Yahoo Group to talk about events on the West Coast and big events
like Castra so as to avoid some confusion. We will also post upcoming events here on RAT as well.

You will see some pictures of us popping up on the photobucket site as well as
some of the web pages.

Mike, thanks for introducing our new cohort of the VI FFC,

I feel honored to be allowed by Rusty to join all the other fine members of the VI with our NW cohort.. Thanks Rusty. Also, many thanks to you Mike, for all the time and effort you've put in to getting our new cohort started and moving along in the right direction.

I'm really looking forward to our upcoming events.
