Very nice. To me it looks like thin silver leaf, not silver sheet. Is this correct? Will the silver leaf stand up to scratching?

thank you to everibody for the compliments.on the wood there is a silver sheet not so thin.....now only the use will confirm if the silver will remain on the handle....I hope Big Grin

Excellent sword. I too am having a Mainz hilt in silver sheet only without the petals that you put on yours.
