In a week or so.
I spotted a Roman Tomb, a theater and a Roman cemetary....things to see.
Any other Roman remains to visit that anyone knows about?
I believe there are Mycenean remains as well as Cyclopean remains too, which I thought were the same...? :?
Anyway, am taking my parents out there for a holiday, so any tips on the island would be appreciated.

Anyone know if the island escaped the fires recently?
The town of Sami was beseiged and the einhabitants sold into slavery.
I imagine there will be some relic of Roman rule there!
I'll take a few pictures and share them with those who are interested.

Well, the ancient citidel of Sami is a must to those interested in the early Republican expansion ofthe Roman empire! :wink:
The mosaics in several villas are worth a look too, not tha tI would want to turn the places into
commercial tourist traps! But a nice place to visit!
