I see on wikipedia that this Miles Russell cites Fronto as a source for a disaster of some sort in Britain. The passage in question is this:

Loeb editor C.R. Haines says, in regards to the claim about the Britons:

"Aelius Spartianus" = one of the fictitious authors of the Historia Augusta. The full ref is HA, Hadr. 5.2, a brief mention of a revolt in Britain at the start of Hadrian's reign.

This is an old-fashioned way of referring to the Historia Augusta. Before Hermann Dessau blew the scriptor's scam apart, it was accepted that a series of different authors (is it six?) wrote the individual biographies. The "author" of the "Life of Hadrian" (Vit. Hadr.) was supposedly named Spartianus (hence, "Spart. Vit. Hadr.").
