Do-it-Yourself Ideas

I have an 8 inch by 20 inch sheet of copper that I want to make something out of. I think of bracers but know they aren't exactly period for Greek Kit. Any Ideas on what I could make?

Emblem that you can put on a shield perhaps.

Also arm guards covering from shoulder to wrist did exist from 800 to 550.

Interesting... are there any known examples? Shield emblems? I shall look into it.

It just covers past my knee but I do not know how to shape a greave. Any clues?
