News today from the BBC:

[size=150:2c5k9cnt]Major buildings find at Roman fortress of Caerleon[/size]

"The major discovery was made by chance by students learning to use geophysical equipment... Cardiff University's Peter Guest said the find was "totally unexpected"... He said the buildings' ground plans suggest that they were of some importance. "The biggest is enormous and must be one of the largest buildings known from Roman Britain."...

Lets hope they get the money to excavate and reconstruct.

Quite a bit of work for a few years if they do!

Would be interesting to know if it is a Market forum type place or the palatial villa.....
Even more amazing is how a structure of that size could have been so wiped from trace, even if it was over 1600 years ago since it was occupied....
