Fectio, Pax Romana and the Teuxandrii had a great weekend at Castellum Fectio / Fort Vechten.

It was fun.

Not that wet as two weeks before when we were at Archeon Vikingweek.
Tents had to dry then 3 days.
Treid out some things, like moving barefoot and camouflaged trough woodland with small shield and short spear.
Worked well, our "ambushed" Roman knew something was going to happen and it did :twisted:
Sadly I/we don't have pictures of us blending into to the scenery.
Now going over my documentation about references concerning the use of camouflage by Local Scouts.

We were at the archaeological museum of Velzeke (BE) for this occasion. We had nice weather, the only place in Belgium were it didn't rain, it seems.
