Poor Andy Whitfield, who plays Spartacus in the Starz TV series, has had to pull out of the filming for series two. This is because his cancer has returned. The series has been put on hold again, naturally enough. Fingers crossed for the guy.

I'm not a fan of this series by any means, however I do think that Whitfield, along with several of the other actors, was doing very credible work and had real potential for a good run as a Hollywood actor.

With luck, he may yet have that chance.
