Just checking to confirm something. Does anyone know of a representation of a Roman soldier in a Roman mosaic?
I don't recall ever seeing one, there are some of Greek soldiers and of course loads of Gladiators but not of a Roman soldier of the time.In this I don't include later mosaics of what appear to be soldiers in tunics hunting.
Thanks
