B&C2 and Romano(-Byzantine) Equipment reference(s) needed...
#1
Didn't know Stephenson's Romano-Byzantine Infantry Equipment is out of print and never found a review of it, so are there any references, preferably with drawings and/or photographs, for late Roman/Byzantine equipment in English or French? I have the relevant Ospreys and Roy Boss' Justinian's Wars. Haven't come across a detailed table of contents for B&C2, so how long is the Dominate chapter and aside from the 5th Century focus, how useful would it be for the following 100 years?

You can check all line drawings of MCB in there online, as Mike kindly made them available.

Thanks. It's a very useful resource, but had come across it while searching through the threads. How many pages in chapters 7: The Army in Crisis and 8: The Dominate?

You know my method. It is founded upon the observance of trifles

Blogging, tweeting, and mapping Hadrian\'s Wall... because it\'s there
