Field table
#1
From a long time I'm looking for traces/images/findings about a "rich" roman field table, I mean a table that can be used in a legatus or centurion tent.
I recently found the image from a TV production from the paxaugusta group web site that seems interesting: http://www.paxaugusta.net/zPhotos/20100 ... alesia.htm

any of you has references for such beautiful table shape?

The so-called "Weißenburg treasure" (in the Prähistorischen Staatssammlung, Munich) included a folding iron stool, whose folding legs look quite like your table, Luca. (The stool legs were braced at the feet, rather than at the hinge, though.)

I cannot find an image on-line. Maybe someone else has one?
