I would very much appreciate a rear view of the helmet, and how the hinge protector relates to the ridge.

Hi John,
That helmet is in a display case very close to a wall, so it's impossible to see the exact rear. I'll be happy to send you any photos I do have however.

Photos received and one is useful. The ridge seems to lower and the orbital guard goes over it.

It is interesting how there are no holes around the lower edge of the skull to fix a leather liner.
Although there are holes for a leather edging to the cheek pieces.
