#1
Ave All......who is a good source for helmet parts, I need to add a chin strap ring to my Aquincum Helmet on the back underneath rear of the helmet and , I guess I can fabricate something, but I was wondering if there was something out there ready made, Salve, Antoninus

Just a simple brass or loose hamata ring will do fine, I would say.

As for more 'serious' parts, I would say, ask the leader of your local group. Maybe they've something old laying around that can be used for parts. I don't really know someone selling loose parts. (although Rusty @ SOTW might be able to help you with parts)

Thanks! I'm surprised they left that simple detail off an otherwise fairly accurate reproduction helmet. Mike
