Can anybody tell me if the Spartan group that used the Lunt Roman fort near Coventry is still up and running?

Late last year the group was still active with the intention to continue. You might wish to try emailing Kieron Vernon ([email protected] or [email protected]). These are the last two email addresses I had for him, which may or may not work.

Sorry for the late reply on this but yes we do still train at the Lunt Fort. We reformed from what was the Spartan Society and are now Sparta Mora. Our website which is still in development has some more details as well as some photos from recent events. Please visit http://www.sparta-mora.org.

You guys in Europe have all the fun with your Roman, Greek and other gatherings. The most we do in south Forida is have the Winter Music Festival and a few other such events for 20 year olds.

Come and play with us next summer in the UK, there are a bunch of events you may be interested in... I'll be playing with the Hoplite Assoc. the Batavi, the Batavian Aux, and Britannia!
