Pattern Welded Ring pommel gladius

This blade started as a very simple one to show the technique to people who doesn´t know what pattern welding is. I followed several ring pommel swords whcih have these somewhat "fulham" shape.
The guard and ring are made from very tiny pieces of steel plus electrolitic iron and several foldings. The idea was to show the grane clearly. BuT I may be exagerated the effect. Opinions are welcome

Nice work. I really like the texture in the surface of the crossguard.

Very handsome grain -- and a nifty design for a gladius too.
