Zavallaburg Forrest; Trouble on the Border! March 22-25 2012

The Barbarian hordes in Germania's Zavallaburg Forest are becoming restless and are raiding Roman settlements along the border. The local Governor has been alerted to raiders operating in our area of responsibility. The Legion has been ordered to patrol the area and destroy any raiders found. The Legatus in response to the message from the Governor has put the legion on alert. Fortifications are to be reinforced, and patrols are to be sent out.
The site is about 3hr south of Texarkana in a town called Zavalla Texas. There is 60 acres of tall pine tree forest with existing primitive buildings. Two will be used as the Roman Barracks and a separate set of two primitive buildings as the Barbarian's village. We have running water on site and fires will be permitted. There is a house on site that is used as a weekend retreat by the owner. I'm talking with him to allow the Ladies to use it to take showers in. Sorry, guys it's the cold hose for you! We are planning to serve a dinner meal Thursday, Friday and Saturday. As well as a Breakfast meal Friday and Saturday. Lunches will be a layout of cold foods. Soldiers will be issued rations for Saturday lunch. We are asking for $40 with meals or $20 without meals. If anyone who is planning to attend has any food allergies Please inform me and we will work around it. There will needlefelt combat so make sure you bring you gear. Legio XIII doesn't have any loner needlefelt swords to lone. So bring extras if you have them.
