Wow - I feel quite homesick now. They have certainly improved the museum space and such a coup to get the Victory statue back.

But it somehow doesn't look the same in the sunshine ...where's the howling wind and horizontal rain???

I have to say that for one who has worked at Housesteads that is just great to see what they have done to improve the place, and oh my goodness it is almost a 1/4 of a century since I did work there but of course I do go back at regular intervals.
