I didn't want to scratch the floor with caligae! I'm in the Hardwood industry but don't want to make more work for myself! Big Grin

It's a black bear pelt that back in the 70's was a rug. I got it very cheaply and it is in very good shape. I removed the felt underside and most of the form in the head. Also took out the bottom jaw, teeth and eyes.

LOL, I looked at it the wrong way, taking the nostrils for eyes (there are two small holes below the nose which I thought were the nose) and the eyes for ears - it looked like a small head!! Big Grin Big Grin
