David, the T-shirt was a light shade of blue. yes, I know, fashion in 1983. No speedo either. It was 30 degrees, hot! The site has been excavated since, and looks quite different these days. It looks like a very large circular earthwork - perhaps it's in France, and it's known as Attila's camp or something?

It is, its a Celtic Oppida or Hillfort, and popularly called amongst the locals as "Attila's Camp," although there is no actual association between the two.
