Could anybody let me know the grammatically (sic) correct Latin for "The Roman Soldier", and is 'ante Christi' the correct Latin for 'before Christ'?

Miles Romanus. If you want THE Roman Soldier, it's the same, just use context.

Ante Christum is the proper, ante comes with accusativus.
