I think that a few thousand soda can tabs joined together as discount chainmail would look great with that helmet!

Thanks for that photo. We need a little humor once in awhile. Maybe I can order my curiass from them rather than forging it myself. Cardboard may be a good material!

When mail is hung the wrong way as in that pic, the result looks like soda can tabs. The weave should be rotated 90 degrees so the links don't stretch open.
