particolar kind of handle for late roman sword

I did this late roman sword and i whanted prove to do a particolar kind of handle that is composite all in ivory of reindeer.

Wow, that handle looks great. Where do you get reindeer antlers so large you do not see the spongy, soft inside? Or is reindeer different from red deer in that respect?
