I am in the process of creating a historically accurate Roman harness, and I have earned nine Corona Aurea and four Phalarae for my military contributions. I am familiar with the Phalarae, but I can find no reference to what the Coronae might look like. Does anyone have any reference material sites that may help?
Sometimes on tombstones too, though none are in the imagebase as yet. There are tombstones in it with depictions of the harness with phalerae. Go to the mainpage and look for 'type of tombstone: other'.
