I always assumed that would be under the games section, what would you like to discuss, quality, manufacturers, army building? Or are we talking about the 4 wheeled variety

In the thread this came from, they were looking for manufacturers of the standard miniature Romans and other cultures. But not necessarily only for gaming, hence this new location.

I'm the newbie who caused this thread to be created from another great discussion
on Roman soldiers in Jerusalem during at Christ's time...and Pilate's reign to keep this Roman oriented.

I asked if anyone has good sources of correct period minatures for this time frame and various peoples of the region?
In 28mm, 54mm, or 1/35 scales...for collecting and wargaming.
The Roman army and allies?
The Jewish army and allies?
Neutrals, etc...
Special equipment of the period and region - especially an "Ark of the Covenant" command unit? Smile
The ark would be for earlier and fantasy what if wargaming...

Vendors in the US would be nice, but, I'm new to all of this and have no clue in the ancient modeling genre.
I have done WWII and fantasy (WH40K) models & gaming, but those are well stocked in the metroploitan Memphis area.
Ancient minatures aren't.
Thank You,
David Ward
