Aigidae Clan

Hi all, in my organisation we reenact the period 800 B.C. 650 B.C. in Spartan History . We are going to sport the snake upon our shields with triangle border meaning we would be spartoi from the Aigidae family clan. I've found out these people lived in the village of Pitana in the Lacedaemon territory but I was wondering if there is more information about this clan. Some of their famous members, actions, anything at all.
