Frederick Pohl (1919-2013)
#1
Frederick Pohl, author and editor, perished of respiratory problems this Monday. He wrote a life of Tiberius, as well as at least one novel set in Pompeii. He joins several other writers of the golden age of the pulps, such as Asimov and de Camp, who had a serious interest in the ancient world. He sounded like a lively and charming man.

His blog was at http://www.thewaythefutureblogs.com/
Nullis in verba

I have not checked this forum frequently since 2013, but I hope that these old posts have some value. I now have a blog on books, swords, and the curious things humans do with them.
