I'm planning to make some storage boxes for my Roman equipment, does anyone know of any images or plans to make an authentic item.

I have read that the Corbridge hoard box was believed to have been covered in leather and indeed others did also have thin copper alloy sheeting to protect them.
What I would also say about that particular book by Allason-Jones and Bishop is in fact a must buy for those who would want to make a Lorica Segmentata.
