The large number of Celts in the Roman army is why there are so many helmets and other pieces of military gear fished out of rivers and other bodies of water. Celts cannot resist throwing stuff into water, and it is still the case, the terrapin and other accessible water-filled exhibitions in Dublin Zoo are always full of coins.
