Question about Non-torsion Greek artillery

Greetings.

I recently got involved in bow making thus I am curious about is there any source about construction of large scale bows for siege engines. If I remember correctly after some point Scythian bow design heavily influenced Greek world but was that so for large scale bows of engines? Or was there other methods of building such heavy bows?
